How To Conquer Depression: With Own Experience
Introduction: Hello reader, i want to aspire and inspire with my own experience and also how i came out, what you can take and learn from depression as well as tips on how to stay strong so it doesn't worsen at least, because if its really bad people tend to kill themselves.
And i was there too, so if you’re reading this, trust me it will be fine and you’re time will come, My experience isn't self pity, i don't believe in that, you will feed it that way just like any other problem, if you talk enough about it.
Own Experience: It always starts somewhere, for me it was lockdown and a bad relationship with this girl that was messing me up kind of, not completely but still not nice to have in your life, i also was already pretty lonely and i didn't have many friends already. I was 15 at the time. It was in the time of the Corona(Virus), i could not see anybody, and i was there just on my own, and you grow weaker and weaker, it feels like your feelings halved, i had my parents and my dear brother, but it wasn't enough, i had no one in the end because i couldn't feel or think anymore, only thing i had was inner strength, i wanted to die for many years, i had no life in me it seemed like, none of the therapies helped me, and in the first stage i didn't know what was going on with me, suddenly i couldn't socialize anymore, self hate grew and grew.
sometimes i just couldn't even talk, i didn't even hear you if you would talk to me, i would just stare in front of me, while the tiniest bit of life was getting sucked out of my soul.
BUT, here come the goodies in the next little chapter i wrote ;).
Mindset: Inner Strength is what saved me, i also believed dying was impossible for me to do because it would be egotistical for me, because i was suffering and i wanted to end that for myself and no one else but me. Imagine the kind of pain my parents and brother would feel, if i killed myself, sadness forever and anger that i did actually kill myself and that i would have left them behind.
Affirmations, i always used to say while i was going crazy, MY TIME WILL COME! in my mind, because if i yelled, my family would hear me suffering, also i said I HAVE TO BE STRONGER! again and again in my mind. Above all that POSITIVE MINDSET is a massive key in surviving your battle. Keep Yourself sane from the self hate and destructive thoughts, if needed you will do this all day.
Vitality: The First thing you will notice is your vitality will go behind. you cant think clearly, which is called brainfog. You will feel very drained and sleepy, its really like you're fighting the battle also in the physical dimension. DISCIPLINE, is what will help you in this, RESEARCH everything about HEALTH! it helped me get a little better, i was also training everyday with zero energy while saying to myself that my time will come. I also recommend cold showers as they raise the dopamine level in your brain, which literally dies when your this depressed, EAT HEALTHY, FOCUS ON YOUR HEALTH! also i recommend taking supplements, but again its up to you to research everything about health, as did i, AND I WON THE BATTLE! and above all keep training and don't put your eyes numbingly before a screen which actually kills your dopamine, its all about dopamine guys, go outside and meditate!
Epiphany and Clearness: To actually get fully out of the depression, you need to know what you're missing. Just ask yourself: “What am i missing?” KNOW WHAT YOU'RE MISSING IN LIFE! once you know this, chase it. once you chase it, you're out guys. I had many epiphanies after like: LIGHT CAN ONLY BE FOUND IN THE DARKNESS. everything you lost has so much more value once you’ve lost it all, just trying and failing feels good, just stand up, because you haven't failed, you just learned to be better, that's all. LEARN FROM IT! Acknowledge how strong you are by not giving up and by just going harder then ever! LET LIFE KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF!
I found the light guys :) Its your turn now!
PS: Therapists can help if you can't figure out what you’re missing, they can do it with you, for that i truly would recommend someone and reach out to them, if your brain truly doesnt let you think.
PS: WRITING! Writing helps a lot, its thoughts on paper guys, think on paper! its much more organized haha.
Conclusion: DON’T KILL YOURSELF! YOU ARE WORTH IT! SHOW THEM ALL! LEARN FROM IT AND LET YOUR WISDOM BE BLESSED BY THE ONES YOU WILL HELP! GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOU ALL!
These were my tips and experiences (but shortened), i hope you gained motivation to do yourself justice, IF NOT IN GOD, BELIEVE IN YOURSELVES!, in what you can do for the ones who are still suffering!
